The Album Art Cover Coasters are the awesome concept of using the album cover from tired old vinyl records and turning them into an eye catching nine piece puzzle disguised as album cover coasters. When was the last time you held a coaster and you immediately flashed back to when you were a young hip kid? When was the last time you gave a gift to your dad and you immediately became the "golden' child". Enough about the wonders of our Recycled Album Art Cover Coasters. Let's get down to how in the world the amazing coaster/puzzle sets are created.
To start with, we go through our collection. Okay we have spent our fair share of time at auctions and garage sells to build up an amazing collection of scratched and warped records. We select a batch of memories, no I mean albums. Next, we take them to the cutting floor. Hubby has his way with them, slicing, gluing and sanding them to perfection. Hubby and I take turns on who gets to caress the lovelies and put on their cute little felt or cork feet and the four layers of glossy finish. The final step is sliding the little beauties in the curing racks.
